Dear Marjorie
Another note to let you know that I am alright. I received your second letter the other day and am pleased to hear you have got back to your usual way of living. Things here are much about the same, we have been having quite a lot of guns drill lately so as to keep us in touch with the drill. We have had a cut in our ration of petrol so that may mean less schemes, I hope it does because I hate schemes. I went to Newcastle on Saturday for the half day, it was quite strange to see so many people. My, Newcastle is a busy place, the place is packed with people, I went to the films and saw the Tower of Terror it was not a good film. Had two hot meals in the Y.M.C.A. and I finished up going to the concert provided by the above mentioned it was terrible, I had the hardest of job in keeping myself from laughing all the time but I guess it passes the time away. Well darling there is not much more to write about so I will close.
Cherrio,
Sydney.

P.S. everything was O.K. at me being late I never heard any thing about it, Cherrio.
