Dear Marjorie
Hope you are keeping well and that the warm weather is not making insurance collecting too much like hard work. How do you find the job of feeding chickens? I guess it is a little strange but still you will find it quite interesting or at least I hope you will. How are your people keeping that includes little Nell and Barrie.
Have you decided where we are going to sleep on our wedding night or don't we sleep? Have things worked out alright between my people and you? I have dropped a note to Gladys inquiring as to how my people have taken the affair, I guess every thing will turn out alright. I have just received your letter wanting to know who and what people I want at the wedding. Well to be quite honest I do not want any people at all but I guess those you have asked will be alright, regarding best man, is one really needed? If one is needed I guess Russell or Stanley will do. I want Pop's brother invited although I guess he would not come if the invitation was given. I hope darling you are not inviting dozens of people from your side, just a few of the ones which you cannot very well do anything else, but ask. I am given to understand that we start leave at one o'clock on a Monday and return at that time, whether it is an      advantage, I really have not decided yet. How did the raids affect you and Ealing last night? We had a lot of bombs dropping here last night but being open here they landed in fields but the noise is nothing like at home because this is the fighter's area. Well darling I must close now,
Cherrio,
Syd
